About the Artist
Hello! My name is Emily Kors, I'm a 27 year old illustrator and graphic design artist located in the wonderful city of Vancouver, BC. I attended Concordia University in Montreal and later the University of Victoria with an entrance scholarship towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I have worked in a variety of fields, from concept art for renowned sculptor Andreas Von Zadora-Gerlof to craft beer graphic design for La Cerveceria Astilleros in North Vancouver.
In my work, I am always challenging myself to pursue different mediums, styles, and topics- I can confidently say I'm a versatile artist! I love to learn new practises and techniques, and am open to trying anything. Combining traditional art with technological means is especially exciting to me, as I believe that you can tell a story through any medium and the digital world holds endless opportunities to explore. I would describe myself as a detail-oriented and ambitious artist, looking to bring beauty into the world by uniting imagination with real-life concepts.
